Metric collection sources

    • When setting up Metric Intelligence, you must configure a source for metric collection. Metric collection can be performed either by the Agent Client Collector, or by metric connectors.

    The metric collection source determines where Metric Intelligence gathers metrics from. For details on gathering metrics using Agent Client Collector, see Enable metrics collection and evaluation.

    When gathering metrics with connectors, use either a SCOM or Dynatrace connector. For details on connecting metrics using a SCOM connector, see Configure the SCOM connector instance.
