View an alert analysis by ServiceNow Otto for an alert on the alert's Overview tab in the Service Operations Workspace. Alert analyses include a human-readable brief of the alert and technical information to help you investigate the alert more effectively.

## Before you begin

Note:  
Currently, ServiceNow Otto for ITOM only supports tag-based, CMDB, Log Analytics, Mixed, Automated, and Network Traffic-based alert groups. For all other alert group types, it only analyzes the parent alert.

Role required: evt_mgmt_user, evt_mgmt_operator

## Procedure

1. Navigate to Workspace ExperienceWorkspacesService Operations Workspace.
2. Select the List icon (![List icon.]()).
3. In the Alerts list, select All Alerts.
4. Select an alert.  
   The alert opens in a separate tab, displaying the Overview subtab.
5. In the Analysis section, select Analyze alert.
6. Review the information provided in the alert analysis.
