Managing Approvals via the Employee Service Center

  • The updated Employee Service Center experience consolidates vulnerability approvals under one interface.This allows customers to efficiently manage security exceptions without navigating multiple systems or UIs.

    About this task

    Viewing Tasks: In the My Tasks tab- All pending tasks related to vulnerability approvals are displayed.

    Each task provides a summary including:
    • Desired State
    • Issue Description
    • Reason for Exception
    • Impacted services
    • Insights tabs
    • Activity
    Navigating Approval Details: Each task lets the approver access:
    • A direct link to the CA record.
    • A link to the questionnaire (if the approver has permission)
    • Related VIT record for further investigation.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to My Tasks, select a request.
    2. Filter requests by Task Type. Select Vulnerability Approvals to view all approvals related to Vulnerability Response.
    3. View approvals details in the Insights, Impacted services, and Activity tabs.
    4. Select Approve or Reject.
      If approved/rejected, the tasks move to the Completed tab. You can apply the Task Type filter to view the completed vulnerability approvals
    5. Approvers can review the approved/ rejected tasks under the Completed tab.

      Detailed audit data is available, including who approved, comments provided, actions performed. No further actions are allowed in this tab.
