The knowledge gaps feature identifies missing knowledge articles. Activate the Knowledge Gaps skill in the ServiceNow Otto AI Admin console before working with gaps.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllAI AdminAI SkillsPlatformKnowledge.
2. From the set of knowledge gap skills, you can enable or disable the following skills:
   * You can activate or deactivate the Knowledge gaps identification (ITSM) skill.
   * You can activate or deactivate the Knowledge gaps identification (CSM) skill.

   Confirm that the skills display an Active or Deactivated status.

   After the skills are activated, gap recommendations appear on the Knowledge Center home page.
