Getting the right hardware and software to the right employee at the right time is the goal of IT procurement – but as a state or local government leader, you know that can be easier said than done. Procurement cycles can be painfully slow, frustrating employees and halting productivity. 

However, there can be a better way. Over a two‑year period, the state of Tennessee reduced the time required to process the purchase order for a new hardware request from 45 days to three days, and for software from 30 days to five days.
