Leverage Sub‑tenancy to Support Multiple Organizations within One ServiceNow Instance
Find out how to take advantage of sub‑tenancy within ServiceNow. Domain Separation allows Managed Service Providers and enterprises to support multiple organizations within a single ServiceNow instance. Domain Separation provides data, process and user interface partitioning to accommodate variations amongst tenants while maintaining the ability to report against and manage the environment as a whole.
The course begins with evaluating whether Domain Separation is warranted given specific use cases. Significant focus is then directed towards developing appropriate domain architecture to support business requirements. Then, during the remainder of the course, students configure a Domain Separated instance for a fictitious company, evaluating and discussing best practices at each step in the process.
The course also discusses the business of the Managed Service Provider (MSP) and best practices around ongoing administration. The following topics are covered in the course, and are reinforced by doing a mini‑implementation at the conclusion of the course:
