Summary

This course provides an overview of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), including why customers need GRC, the evolution of organizations as they mature in the space, and technical aspects of implementing ServiceNow Risk and Policy and Compliance applications. (Audit is not covered in this course).

Participants will learn the common technical aspects of a Risk and Policy and Compliance Management, as well as the various strategies for Scoping organizations with varying needs and regulatory landscapes. Additionally, participants will learn tactical skills and strategies that will better prepare them to implement Risk and Policy and Compliance in a scalable, repeatable, and efficient manner.

During this two‑day interactive training course participants learn how to run a successful customer Risk and Policy and Compliance implementation.

Participants will:

  • Evaluate Risk and Compliance use cases
  • Recall the ServiceNow scoping framework and architecture
  • Review scoping considerations and techniques that guide the approach for Profile scoping
  • Examine Profile scoping examples and practice scoping an organization
  • Recall baseline Risk and Policy and Compliance application functionality, security, and architecture
  • Examine solution features and implementation considerations
  • Discuss supported integrations and share best practices
  • Describe available content packs and Performance Analytics capabilities

These objectives are achieved through a combination of demos, lecture, and group discussions. Lab exercises are woven throughout the class to walk you through how to effectively implement Risk and Compliance Management.

Prerequisites

Certified System Administrator (CSA)

GRC Fundamentals OR three to six months experience implementing ServiceNow and GRC

ServiceNow Platform Implementation (Recommended; Not Required)

Vendor Risk Management Implementation Training (Recommended; Not Required)

Certification

This course will offer certification.
