In this two-day course, attendees will learn how to enable service-centric operations management by configuring Event Management in their ServiceNow system. Topics include:

  • Capture and record Events in ServiceNow
  • Overview of Discovery and Service Mapping
  • Generate meaningful Alerts from Events in ServiceNow
  • Create actionable tasks, such as Incidents, from Alerts
  • Configure SolarWinds and iReasoning to create Events
  • Use workflows to automatically remediate server issues
  • Create reports based on Event and Alert information
