What actually makes ServiceNow a great place to work?

Our latest accolades from Glassdoor — number 1 on Glassdoor’s best place to work in the UK list and number 3 on Glassdoor’s top places for senior leadership — have got us thinking.

We all know that ServiceNow is committed to the very best for its employees, but rather than repeating ourselves and sharing another press release announcing that we’re a ‘great place to work’ we want to take the time to show you why

So, let’s get stuck in. Here are 5 ways ServiceNow provides a stand-out employee experience:

1.     An inclusive company culture

A lot of companies talk about culture — we live and breathe it. We want to make the world of work work for all of our people. So, as well as regular social events and celebrations, we offer a range of diversity groups including Black at Now, Women at Now and Pride at Now. Everybody is welcome at ServiceNow, and we’re committed to showing it. Our recent Diversity and Inclusion report can be found here.

2.     A wealth of opportunities for talent

We’re all feeling the impact of the ongoing talent crisis right now, but at ServiceNow, we’re committed to finding, retaining, and nurturing top-tier talent from a range of places. You don’t need a computer science degree to be part of the team, if you’re ready to learn, we’re ready to help. Our NextGen initiative is one of the ways we welcome undiscovered talent into the technology sector, and our culture of diversity and belonging helps ensure that talent feels welcome and safe at ServiceNow, whatever their background, experience or identity.

3.     Commitment to employee wellbeing and mental health

Making the world work is important, but making work work for our people is arguably even more so. We spend so much of our time at work, it should be enjoyable and manageable. To help make that possible, we’ve introduced regular wellbeing days, mental-health first-aiders across all departments, and more initiatives designed to help our employees balance the pressures of everyday life.

4.     A seamless HR experience

We understand that starting a new job can be stressful, because that’s exactly what we help our customers with. That puts us in the unique position of being able to implement the seamless, stress-free onboarding solutions that we sell to customers in our own organisation. The result? An easy online/remote onboarding experience that works for everyone involved.

5.     Efficient, effective working from anywhere

We want our staff to be happy and healthy, but we also want to make sure they have everything they need to make their job as easy as possible. Luckily, we’re experts in that area. We ensure all our staff are given the right ServiceNow technology that allows them to work flexibly, efficiently, and easily, whether they’re in the office, at home or elsewhere.
