CIOs and CHROs are collaborating on talent strategies, but they are
largely missing out on opportunities to improve employees’
experiences through workflow digitization.
While 72% of CIOs say they are collaborating with CHROs on
setting talent strategies, just 8% are implementing technology
solutions together, according to new research published in Workflow Quarterly.
Leaders should recognize that the employee experience is about far more than individual moments, whether big or small.
This gap could result in key missed opportunities in your organization.
In fact, the data shows that CIOs who lead the most
digitized organizations report higher rates of organizational
efficiency and productivity, as well as employee performance,
collaboration, and innovation. New data set to be published in
Quarterly next month also reveals that CIOs farther ahead in
digitizing workflows with peers also report increased effectiveness in
multiple functions, including IT and HR/talent.
