5 ways we’re enhancing the partner program to boost value
At ServiceNow, we’re customer obsessed. That’s why we work tirelessly to enrich our partner ecosystem: to ensure customers have access to the best solutions and expertise.
Our recent achievement of the prestigious CRN 5-Star Partner Program designation for the third consecutive year validates our approach. CRN-recognized 5-Star Programs provide a comprehensive array of incentives, resources, training, services, and benefits.
At the same time, this recognition challenges us to continue raising the bar for partner engagement. Today, I’m excited to share five significant enhancements to the ServiceNow Partner Program.
These improvements, based on feedback from our partner community, aren’t simply about partner growth. They're about equipping partners with the tools they need to innovate in the AI-powered business landscape to make customers successful.
1. Simplified program requirements
Complexity is the bane of innovation. For that reason, we’ve streamlined and modified Partner Program requirements—to reduce complexity and fuel growth.
We’ve also simplified the way we work together by integrating enablement, resources, and tools into one unified Partner Portal. And we gave the tools in the Partner Portal an AI upgrade: We created AI agents to optimize common partner tasks, such as deal registrations, lead scoring, and creating customer stories.
These changes help free partners from administration and compliance burdens. In so doing, they empower partners to focus on identifying innovative ways to harness the trifecta of AI agents, data, and workflows to grow their ServiceNow partnership and deliver meaningful customer outcomes.
2. AI innovation opportunities
We’ve invested in new ways to support our partners in putting AI to work. Partners now have expanded access to ServiceNow AI-equipped instances for demos, development, and innovation.
These benefits enable partners to capture emerging opportunities across industries and regions. For example, many of our partners have built or are building AI agents on the ServiceNow AI Platform trained on ServiceNow data.
3. New recognition and differentiation
We’re rewarding partners with program recognition for efforts to deploy products quickly and spur utilization. This encourages partners to reduce time to value for our customers to help them reap the benefits of the ServiceNow AI Platform as quickly as possible.
In addition, enhanced Product Line Achievement (PLA) designations enable partners to showcase their AI expertise and differentiate themselves in the market. This makes it easy for customers to identify trusted partners that have invested in AI.
We’ve also simplified the process and are providing a more flexible path to earning PLAs via a variety of avenues. New AI Specializations showcase partners’ prowess in selling and deploying AI-powered product lines.
4. Streamlined deal registration
Lower administrative overhead and accelerated sales cycles translate into faster deals and more customers reaping the benefits of ServiceNow.
Recent deal registration policy changes for midmarket and commercial opportunities enable partners to spend less time on operations and resource alignment and more time helping customers gain access to the solutions they need.
This enhancement enables customers to address critical business challenges without sacrificing valuable time. And our deal registration AI agent helps partners create deal registrations without having to fill out lengthy forms.
5. Expanded partner incentives
We’re committed to removing barriers to innovation, increasing incentives, and providing tools and resources partners need to grow their businesses while delivering greater value to customers.
Our nearly four-times increase in partner incentives this year is evidence. Building on the momentum of incentive programs launched at the beginning of the year, we’ve added more ways to reward partners that are focusing on areas that matter most to customers, such as AI innovation and expanding investment in the platform. It’s a win-win for both customers and partners.
Partner feedback has been instrumental in shaping all of these enhancements. Together, we’ve built a world-class partner ecosystem capable of delivering extraordinary outcomes for our customers.
