Hi Everyone
I was wondering, what is the current state of ServiceNow in South Africa. I originally South African, but have been living in the States for the last 7 years. With the exponential growth I've seen at the knowledge conferences over the last three years i was wondering if the product is gaining traction back home.
I was wondering if anyone has knowledge about how widely adopted it is over there?
Also if it isn't widely adopted, what do you think are some of the pain points that prevents some South African companies from jumping on board?

Hi Juan,
We have been looking at ServiceNow for almost 3 years now and we are just about to start deploying it to our organization. It was a very long road mostly due to costs and the lack of local skills.
Once we confirmed a global contract and lower lisence costs the real search started for a local partner. We managed to find a local partner and config starting really soon.
I firmly believe this is a fantastic product and solves allot of business issues and will be adopted more broadly within most sub BU's within the business as we have an overall service management strategy driving the deployment.

Thanks for the response. I figured the concerns would be cost, but didn't even think about the lack of local partners, although that makes a lot of sense. Well good luck with the initial config and setup. What version are you starting on?
We are mainly involved with developing other BU's within the business so i definitely agree with you that most BU's will try to jump on board, in our experience it's managing which to accommodate first that poses some challenges

There is a whole user group of SN South Africa and im sure connecting with people on that and looking at the content will give you a way better idea.
