Software Asset Management

Hi all,

As employee of Colruyt Group, I'm exploring the different options to manage our software licenses in ServiceNow. Does any of you has some experience with either the Software Asset Management Foundation plugin of ITSM (Software Asset Management Foundation plugin (servicenow.com)) or the Software Asset Management application of ITAM (Software Asset Management (servicenow.com))? What's your experience? Why are you using the one or the other? What are they worth without having ITOM Discovery? ...?

Hi Dimitri, 

Due to prioritization, we have not been able to further explore these options. However, I'm interested in your feedback as soon as you have implemented the SAM tool. 

If we would further explore software asset management within ServiceNow, I will keep you posted!

Hi Tom,

Currently I am platform owner and internally we are not using it.

But I have implemented 3 times SAM and also HAM and I can elaborate on this if you like.

I will attend the SNUG the 4th, perhaps we can discuss it there?
