ServiceNow provides a rich set of outbound authentication options for building integrations, including support for common authentication types such as OAuth, API Keys, Basic Auth, and more. But what if your integration requires an authentication type not supported by the platform? Authentication Algorithms enable you to create new credential types and the logic behind them. In this lab, you’ll learn how to: Create a new Authentication Algorithm; and develop a new Credential Type and configure it to use your new Authentication Algorithm.
