Hey there, ServiceNow Community!
It’s that time again! Our CreatorCon Call for Content (CFC) is officially open for CreatorCon 2026!
Call for Content Opens: October 1, 2025
Call for Content Submission Deadline: October 24, 2025
SUBMIT YOUR SESSION!
CreatorCon is the developer-focused part of the annual Knowledge conference.
It's where the best ideas, the boldest builders, and the most passionate problem-solvers come together to share their stories. It’s a place where you can:
- Explore creative ways to use the Now Platform.
- Learn from peers and industry experts about the latest tools, features, and innovations.
- Participate in hands-on labs, technical sessions, our popular CreatorCon Hackathon, and much more!
Whether you’re a seasoned speaker, or someone stepping onto the stage for the very first time, the CreatorCon CFC is your chance to shape the conversation, inspire your peers, and showcase what you’ve built, optimized, implemented, or developed.
Because your voice matters.
CreatorCon is fueled by real stories from developers, architects, admins, and practitioners like you. We’re looking for:
- Hands-on demos that show how you solved tough problems.
- Deep dives into technical challenges, tools, and best practices.
- Stories of innovation where you pushed ServiceNow to do something new.
- Tips and tricks that help others move faster, smarter, and better.
And remember, you don’t need to be an expert with years of speaking experience.
Some of the most memorable sessions come from people simply sharing what they’ve learned along the way.
This year, we’re celebrating Community impact. Show us how your ideas and solutions made life easier for your team, your company, or even your customers. The CreatorCon stage is about people, not just platforms.
To get started, click the link above, which will take you to the CFC portal. After you click "Start", you'll be prompted to choose the type of session you are submitting. Click "CreatorCon Session, Lab, or Ask the Expert".
P.S. You can also submit to the Knowledge CFC if you are interested. Click here to find out more details about that.
Next, you'll be taken to the submission details page. Go through and select all the options relevant to your session!
As you get towards the middle of the page, you'll see a question titled "What is the primary focus for this session?"
If you are telling a story about how your solution made a difference in your Community, choose the new "Community" option as your primary focus. Not everything needs to be technical about a feature if you don't want it to be! If you are telling a story about something, call it out as a community.

We’ve got resources, speaker coaching, and a whole Community cheering you on. You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to be passionate.
So, what’s the story only you can tell?
To help you craft the best submission possible, Earl Duque, Senior Developer Advocate at ServiceNow, put together an in-depth video guide on how to submit the most compelling CreatorCon session. This video was created for last year’s CFC, but the same idea applies to 2026.
Or, keep reading for to explore written-out tips and tricks for crafting a compelling session.
Let’s cover the foundation of a successful CreatorCon session submission.
The Title
This is your first (and possibly only) chance to catch someone’s attention. The title should be engaging, creative, and intriguing.
Avoid generic titles like “ServiceNow Performance Tips”.
Instead, go for something that sparks curiosity, like “Unlocking Hidden Performance Boosts: How to Supercharge Your ServiceNow Instance”, or “Top 5 Tips for Accelerating ServiceNow Development", or "Unlocking Hidden Features: A Deep Dive into [Feature Name]".
The Abstract
Your abstract is the core pitch. This 2-3 sentence summary should clearly explain what the session will cover and what attendees will learn.
Keep it exciting but concise. Think of it as the hook that gets people to attend. For example, “Learn how to boost the performance of your ServiceNow instance with little-known tips and tricks used by top developers.”
Understanding the CreatorCon Audience
CreatorCon is attended by a diverse group of professionals, including:
- Administrators: Focused on Platform management and optimization.
- Developers: Responsible for new features, tools, and development techniques.
- Architects: Looking for architectural best practices and innovative solutions.
- Practitioners: Anyone involved in making ServiceNow happen in their organizations.
Each of these groups comes to CreatorCon looking for specific insights, tools, and strategies that will help them in their daily work. Tailoring your session to one or more of these audiences is crucial for ensuring the right attendees choose your session.
Session Types We’re Looking For
The types of sessions that perform best at CreatorCon fall into several categories:
- Technical Deep Dives: These are in-depth explorations of specific technologies, features, or techniques.
- Case Studies and Success Stories: Share real-world implementations, challenges you’ve overcome, and the lessons you’ve learned.
- Hands-On Labs and Workshops: Practical, interactive sessions where attendees can learn by doing.
- Tips, Tricks, and Best Practices: Practical, actionable advice that attendees can implement right away to improve their day-to-day workflows or processes.
Session Lengths and Formats
Choose the session length that best fits the depth of your content:
- 20-minute: Short, to-the-point sessions, perfect for sharing quick tips or introducing a new idea.
- 30-minute: Ideal for more detailed presentations or demos.
Tips for Writing a Great Title
- Make it Clickable: Your title should be engaging, creative, and clear. If possible, include numbers or quantify the value. For example, "Top 5 Tips for Accelerating ServiceNow Development", or "Unlocking Hidden Features: A Deep Dive into [Feature Name]".
- Be Creative: Don’t be afraid to get a little playful or intriguing with your title. Instead of “Improving Platform Performance,” try something like “Why is My ServiceNow Instance Slow? Finding and Fixing Performance Bottlenecks”.
- Avoid Overly Popular Topics Without a Unique Angle: For trending subjects like Generative AI, Agentic AI, or Performance Management, make sure to offer a unique perspective or niche angle.
Tips for Writing a Great Abstract
- Focus on outcomes: Attendees should know exactly what they’ll take away by the end of your session. Use phrases like “In this session, you will learn…” to clearly define the benefits.
- Highlight key takeaways: What specific knowledge, skills, or tools will attendees gain from your session?
- Be concise: Your abstract should be a quick read. Avoid unnecessary jargon and keep it focused on what’s most important.
- Write this abstract as it should appear in the CreatorCon and Knowledge catalogue. This abstract is written for CreatorCon attendees, so write to them as your audience!
Presenting at CreatorCon isn’t just a chance to share your knowledge. It’s also a huge opportunity for your career. Here are some key benefits:
Professional Growth and Networking
Position yourself as a thought leader in the ServiceNow ecosystem, and network with peers, experts, and potential employers.
Career Advancement
Presenting can open doors to new job opportunities or collaborations within the ServiceNow community.
Recognition and Visibility
Gain visibility and recognition within the industry. Showcase your session on your resume or LinkedIn profile.
Personal Satisfaction
Share your knowledge and give back to the ServiceNow Community! Your presentation will help the Community grow, allowing other individuals to learn from your experience and expertise.
Perks for Presenters
Receive a complimentary ticket to the Knowledge 2026 conference, where you’ll have the chance to attend sessions, keynotes, and exclusive events.
Learn from those who have done it before! Past MVP speakers recommend:
- Choose a Topic You’re Passionate About: Your enthusiasm will engage your audience and make your session more memorable.
- Don’t Assume Knowledge Levels: Even experienced professionals might not know the feature or tool you’re discussing. Explain concepts clearly and thoroughly.
- Mix Slides with Demos: Visual aids like slides, demos, and even short videos can make your presentation more engaging.
- Practice Makes Perfect: Invest time in rehearsing your session, making sure you hit your key points without rushing or running over the allotted time.
We can’t wait to see your ideas come through. Let’s make CreatorCon at Knowledge 2026 the most inspiring, impactful, and awesome one yet.
See you there!
