Here's all you have to do:

Question 1:

How helpful was the Developer Passport in understanding what's coming for builders and developers in the Australia release, and how to use said enhancements? Please share any additional feedback you have about this new format for release content (i.e. product-specific livestreams with members from the team that helped create them).

Question 2:

Which developer products would you most like to see additional content about in the weeks following the Developer Passport? Do you prefer any specific medium (e.g. blogs, videos, PDFs, etc.)?

That's it.

Drop your answers in the comments below and we'll take care of the rest. Your badge will show up on your Community profile within a few weeks of the deadline.

Speaking of the deadline, you have until March 27 to claim it. Don't leave it on the table!

Answer 1:

Developer Passport is not over yet, but I can already say that I really like that you give each new feature enough time so that you can really show what is new and how to use it. This provides so much more value than putting everything together in one hour. In addition, I also like that you have a dedicated post for each Developer Passport episode with a summary of the episode.

I really would like to see you using the new features in your livestreams and invite the developers who have built the new features.

Answer 2:

I would like to see real world examples for the new features of Playbooks and Build Agent.

The format depends on the content/use case. For example, to show how to apply the new features of playbooks in real world example, I would prefer video format. This is something which could be done in a livestream.

For technical specifications, or a list of best practices for a specific feature or product I prefer text format. Either a blog post or a PDF.

Answer 1:

Developer Passport provided much needed clarity on the upcoming Australia release. The session successfully bridged the gap between technical release notes and real-world application through practical demos and use cases. These insights are invaluable for my strategic planning and will allow me to maximize the impact of the new features immediately.

Answer 2:

To better support developers, I recommend focusing on bite-sized video contents, scenario-based examples, and faster community response times. My learning style thrives on hands-on practical examples and interactive sessions similar to Developer Passport. It reminds me of when I was new to ServiceNow and working on a CSM hackathon app, and it was only Dr Atul's videos that helped us get through it. So more 'how to' documentation and interactive sessions would be a significant asset.

Hi @laurenmcman ,

As I am a currently working on Servicenow GRC , ITSM and ITOM Modules mostly , So I would try to answer as per my usecases.

Question 1: How well did Developer Passport help you understand what’s coming in the Australia release and how to use it? Which product are you focusing on most?

Answer:

The Developer Passport was very helpful in explaining what’s included in the Australia release and how the new features can be applied in real scenarios. The sessions made complex updates easier to understand through practical examples and demos.

My main focus areas are ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and GRC, and the content was valuable in showing how enhancements across these products can improve service operations, monitoring, and governance processes.

Question 2: How do you prefer to learn and get help when building in ServiceNow, and how can the Community better support you?

Answer:

I prefer learning through a combination of hands‑on practice, official documentation, and community knowledge. I usually start with release notes and docs, then explore use cases or labs, and rely on the Community for real‑world solutions when challenges arise.

The Community could better support developers by offering more use‑case‑driven guides, short video walkthroughs, and shared examples or templates related to ITSM, ITOM, and GRC.

Regards,

Sagnic

Answer 1: Nothing like a fresh take on the hot topics of the new releases. The Passport approach, feels like a pre-flight enabler. Allowing the flight attendants to guide you to your seats, briefly tuching upon the options and capabilities - before letting you sit back and enjoy the ride.

Deffinetly a refreshing approach for a new family release introduction
- And having the pilots, engineers and other personal elaborate on the "why" lets us get a peak behind the curtains.

I'm marking the Passport as Helpful

Answer2: I would appreciate a deeper dive into the granular admin roles - not directly developer tool specific, but important in the world of segragation of duty and least privilege approach; while still being able to build as we go. Perhaps in a joined effort with the new developer sandboxes 😄 !
No-code, Low-Code, Pro-Code.

Format wise, they hit differently - so the more the better 😉

Question 1:

How helpful was the Developer Passport in understanding what's coming for builders and developers in the Australia release, and how to use said enhancements?
Personally, I really love the Developer Passport approach. It feels like a bunch of personal trainings to be ready as best as possible for the new release. Of course its just the first step of discovering the new Austrialia features.
Regarding the format: I am not that active on YouTube which made it hard for me to catch the live streams. Would love to find any other kinds of reminder (classic ics would be 10/10) in the future.

Question 2:

Which developer products would you most like to see additional content about in the weeks following the Developer Passport? Do you prefer any specific medium (e.g. blogs, videos, PDFs, etc.)?
For me ReleaseOps is very interesting as well as more content about AI Agents including MCP.

I think videos and live streams are the best way to demonstrate real-life scenarios.
The best way to publish technical details on the other hand, e.g. as a "reference guide", is through a blog post.

Question 1:

I like the video format, sepecially that it's split into short episodes, which makes it easier to fit into a busy schedule. However, I feel there is too much focus on what AI Agents can or might do. These capabilities don't impact a large portion of the current user base yet, so i'd prefer if the majority of the content targeted a boarder audience and covered features that more people can benefit from right now.

Question 2:

I would definetly like to see more content about the ServiceNow SDK. Many ServiceNow developers, including myself, don't come from a traditional software engineering background, so any additional guidance on pro-code tools and how to adopt them effectively would be very valuable.

As for format, I prefer videos and detailed blogs, these formats allow us to see every steps.

Please share any additional feedback you have about this new format for release content (i.e. product-specific livestreams with members from the team that helped create them).

Answer 1 :
The Developer Passport was useful for visually exploring new features and understanding how to apply them, especially with insights directly from the experts who built them. It also helped provide clarity on upcoming enhancements and future direction.

Answer 2:
I would like to see more content on Workflow Data Fabric, Now Assist, and UI Builder, preferably through detailed demonstration videos.

Question 1: How well did Developer Passport help you understand what's coming in the Australia release and how to use it? Which product are you focusing on most?

My answer:

• I would suggest one discovery session for each major feature or major update, as this would provide deeper clarity and help teams understand the changes more effectively.
• A dedicated Q&A session would also be very helpful. I recommend collecting questions in advance and addressing the most common ones before opening the floor for live questions.
• The team I’m working with is primarily focused on Service Operations Workspace, CMDB, and Playbooks.

Question 2: How do you prefer to learn and get help when building in ServiceNow, and how can the Community better support you?

My answer:
I will try to attend live sessions when the timing works. However, based on past experience, this is often difficult because my work meetings frequently overlap. As a result, I rely on session recordings more often, as they allow me to learn at my own pace.
Information posted on the Community is also very helpful, especially when I need specific details or guidance on particular topics.

Question 1:

I am really excited to learn about what is coming in Playbooks, Flows and Experiences.   It was great to see that the Playbooks Passport today didn't solely focus on AI updates.  Not every update in a family release is about AI and those updates need to be highlighted.   I find it helpful to read the release notes and seeing a demo of the new functionality with use cases is appreciated.  As a platform owner I need to know what is possible.

Question 2:

It is helpful to read how to articles of various use cases with step by step how it is done.

Hands on labs are invaluable to putting new features into practice in a PDI.

I would like to see more best practice community articles.

It would also be beneficial to drill into search results or add a filter to not include certain keywords in a search.
