Please share any additional feedback you have about this new format for release content (i.e. product-specific livestreams with members from the team that helped create them).

Answer 1:

The Developer Passport for the Australia release was very helpful in understanding upcoming enhancements for builders and developers. The product-specific livestreams provided practical insights directly from the teams behind the features, which made the content more authentic and easier to relate to real-world use cases.

This format is engaging compared to traditional documentation because it combines explanation with demonstrations. It also helps in quickly grasping how to apply new features in development environments.

As feedback, it would be even more beneficial to include:

  • More real-time demos or hands-on walkthroughs
  • Short summary highlights for quick revision
  • Access to recordings with timestamps for specific topics

Overall, it is a great initiative and makes release learning more interactive and developer-friendly.

Question 2:

Which developer products would you most like to see additional content about in the weeks following the Developer Passport? Do you prefer any specific medium (e.g. blogs, videos, PDFs, etc.)?

Answer 2:

In the weeks following the Developer Passport, I’d love to see deeper content on:

  • App Engine Studio (best practices, advanced use cases, and real-world examples).
  • Flow Designer (especially around complex integrations and performance optimization).
  • Next Experience UI (guidance on customizing and extending it).
  • AI/ML capabilities (how developers can practically leverage them in apps).

Preferred mediums:

  • Videos for walkthroughs and demos (great for seeing features in action).
  • Blogs for detailed explanations and code snippets.
  • PDFs/cheat sheets for quick reference when building.

A blended approach works best — videos for learning, blogs for depth, and PDFs for quick recall.

Answer:

The Developer Passport was pretty helpful in understanding what’s coming in the Australia release. Instead of going through long release notes, the sessions made it easier to see how the new features actually fit into day-to-day development work.

I liked that the sessions were explained by the product teams themselves - it gave a better idea of why certain features were introduced and how we can realistically use them. It didn’t feel too theoretical, which made it easier to connect with real use cases.

Overall, the format works well.

Question 2:

Which developer products would you most like to see additional content about in the weeks following the Developer Passport? Do you prefer any specific medium (e.g. blogs, videos, PDFs, etc.)?

Answer:

I usually prefer a mix of learning formats. Short videos are great to quickly understand what’s new, but for actually trying things out, step-by-step guides and hands-on labs help a lot more.

Please share any additional feedback you have about this new format for release content (i.e. product-specific livestreams with members from the team that helped create them).

Answer1:

The Developer Passport format was extremely helpful. Having each session focused on a specific feature area — Playbooks, Flows, Experiences — made it much easier to absorb the content compared to a single packed session like TechNow. Having the actual product managers who built the features present was a big value-add; it meant you could get direct, detailed answers rather than high-level overviews. The Flows session in particular was very useful for understanding practical enhancements like Flow Execution Analysis and the AI Agent action.

Question 2:

Which developer products would you most like to see additional content about in the weeks following the Developer Passport? Do you prefer any specific medium (e.g. blogs, videos, PDFs, etc.)?

Answer2:

Without a doubt, Experiences is the area I'm most eager to see additional content on — specifically the new UI Interactions feature in UI Builder.Need more Documentation in any format on UI Interactions.

The Developer Passport allows us to quickly see what’s new – and, above all, in a much more engaging way than having to wade through reams of documentation. It makes it easy to discover and experience the latest features in practice at a unifying event. A sneak peek at Knowledge26!

Products focused on the user experience are key to high product adoption. There’s a lot happening with the ‘Next Experience UI’, as well as the integration of Mouveworks and the announcement of EmployeeWorks. I think the current video format is perfect for addressing these topics. I look forward to the next content releases and, above all, Creator Con!

Hi @laurenmcman and community

Question 1: How helpful was the Developer Passport in understanding what's coming for builders and developers in the Australia release, and how to use said enhancements? Please share any additional feedback you have about this new format for release content (i.e. product-specific livestreams with members from the team that helped create them).

Australia Preview/kickoff gave insights to what was coming next. I really liked the idea of preview which hyped and informed community members on what content was scheduled on different days. Scheduling it on you-tube live stream gave fair idea on what to expect from each session and also keeping it live gave opportunity to post questions and have it answered it on live-stream itself. Instead of just relying on release notes and blogs it was good to experience it live

Question 2: Which developer products would you most like to see additional content about in the weeks following the Developer Passport? Do you prefer any specific medium (e.g. blogs, videos, PDFs, etc.)?

I loved the session on playbook. I have firsthand seen and worked on playbook when it was specific to CSM and FSM modules. Having worked on playbook and seen how effective it is for support it was good seeing how far playbook has come along. Having participated in buildwithbuildagent challenge last year it was good to see dedicated live session for it as well, so more people are informed on this capability. Would love to see more practical use cases

I generally prefer to have all medium at disposal from PDFs to videos to live session as combination of all gives ample opportunity for learners to refer and learn in their own sweet time and way.

Thanks and Regards,

Mohamed Zakir

Question 1

Answer:

I found the Developer Passport helpful in understanding what’s coming for builders and developers in the Australia release and how to use those enhancements. I liked the livestream format because it gave direct insights from the team behind the features, which made it easier for me to understand the practical usage. As feedback, I think adding a short summary or key takeaways at the end would make it even better.

Question 2

Answer:

I would like to see more content on APIs, integrations, and automation features, especially with real-world use cases. I’m also interested in learning about best practices and performance improvements. I prefer a mix of formats—short videos for quick learning and blogs or detailed documents for deeper understanding.

Question 1:

The sessions are great and to the point to help me understand what is coming and their purpose. Especially in my customer facing role, supporting them to adopt most of what is available these are the right information ahead of time to already steer them in the right direction based on their pain points and requirements. This is also key to make customers decision easier if they want to move to the next latest and greatest release already. Eager to see the next sessions in the series for even more capabilties; and consuming those sessions with live demos is so much easier to understand rather than browsing though pages of release notes and the documentation alone.

Question 2:

Most important area remains ITSM which is the most common product used these days. Second, new features in the area of the core platform features, allowing customers to understand their platform health and address technical debt remains key for me and my customers. Third, AI related topics like the NowAssist features and more OOTB use cases allowing customers to faster adopt ready made and taliored solutions for our products are highly welcome! Keep the blog and video format, much easier to consume in a timely manner.

Question 1:

I found the Developer Passport format very helpful for understanding what is coming for builders and developers in the Australia release. Having separate sessions for each topic makes it much easier to follow compared to a single one hour session. I also really appreciate that subject matter experts from the product teams present the features themselves, which adds more depth and clarity. Being able to ask questions directly to the teams also makes the experience more interactive and useful.

Question 2:

I would like to see more follow up content around Next Experience since many developers still seem to struggle with UI Builder. More guidance and practical examples would really help. In terms of format, I prefer video sessions where experts walk through real use cases or build something step by step. It would also be helpful to have a short blog summary of the key points so people can easily refer back to them later.

Answer 1:
The Developer Passport format focuses on a specific topic. I find it valuable to get direct feedback from Product Managers and other people who collaborate on the project. The demos are generally well done. The end-of-session recap is useful.

Answer 2:
I would like to see more demonstrations of Build Agent, with real use cases. I would also like to see demonstrations of AI Control Tower and EmployeeWorks. I prefer fairly short video formats with just demos rather than slides.
