With the new Enhancements , we have new Trigger type called " Recurring " has been added.

What does it means ?

The Recurring events like Birthdays, Annivarsaries, etc. can now be scheduled as a communication campaign by the content authors on employee center (provided you have Employee center Pro).

How do we Configure?

Navigate to Content Experiences > Content Experience Builder> Open your Required Campaign

Select the tab "Schedule of content "

Be on this tab , and on the right top corner you can find a option called "Create stage" , click on this :

A new window will open up :

Fill the required fields with "Trigger Type " as "Recurring" , like below (This is an example for Birthday) :

Also, you can refer this Product document to understand all the fields present in this form: create campaign stages (bundles) using campaign builder

Click on "Submit" button

Created Campaign bundle and taken trigger type as "Recurring". So , I have given 1 hour in item duration but campaign is not visible on the portal. Whereas user has already HR Profile created and also Date of birth mentioned but while impersonating with respective audience , Still not visible on portal.

Could you please help me on this.

Hi, Sandeep -

My organization is still on San Diego so unfortunately I don't think I can use the feature you detailed yet. I was curious if you know of an alternative that's similar to this in San Diego?

Use case: I work on the HRSD platform and I have a team that's asked for weekly calls to be added to the Upcoming Events widget for the rest of the year. I'm trying to figure out a way to make this recurring without adding each date separately.

Thank you! 🙂

This is good functionality to schedule it on a recurring basis, although it would be great if there was the option to add a date directly to the campaign bundle record to trigger this rather than having to reference a date from the User or HR Profile tables.

The limitation we are facing is we have content we intend to fire to the same audience at the same set date each year, but we cannot find a date field on either the User or HR Profile tables where the values are common among the audience to enable this. This means we'll have to persist with manually cloning or rescheduling for the time being.

Is anyone aware of any plans on making such changes in newer plugin versions?
