Why does changing Instance password take so long?

I created and instance, then now I am changing my instance password, but it has been loading for half an hour now and nothing seems to be happening.

Why is that?

On the User Form (Default View) go to Configure > Form Design, set the Password field to Mandatory.
So you can easily change/set the password.
Don't forget to revert the field to not Mandatory!
