"This being my 6th Knowledge conference (my first one being 2008) it's mainly a time to for me reconnect with customers, and meet some that I've worked with for years face-to-face for the first time. Plus, there's always good food and events surrounding the sessions. The customer interaction is by far the best part, however. I love seeing the myriad of things customers have built on the platform, getting ideas on how to improve my own solutions, and of course doing impromptu "stump the chump" (the chump being me) sessions at the Cloud Sherpas booth. Plus, with there being so many smart people all in one place, there's bound to be that light bulb 'I didn't know you could do that!?' moment several times over the course of the event."

"Knowledge events are a 'must go' event for us each year—what we learn and the connections we make at these events are invaluable to us and our clients. This year for Knowledge14, we have several core reasons for attending, of which are mostly driven by what our clients and prospects have expressed interested in learning:

  1. Share ideas and client experiences about how ServiceNow is being used in and outside of IT.
  2. Learn about the new capabilities on the horizon for ServiceNow and its future product roadmap.
  3. Help attendees understand the ever-growing value ServiceNow brings to their ITSM initiative.
  4. Help others become ServiceNow superheroes within their organizations by passing our superpowers on to them!"

"K14 is one of my favorite conferences because it is so content-rich.   Breakout sessions are largely based on customer experiences, and focus on both technical and process driven aspects.   Lab sessions provide attendees hands-on experience with the tool, and an opportunity to up-skill in what seems like an endless list of specific topic areas such as reporting, configuration management, SDLC, catalog workflow or the CMS.

This year, I am looking forward to sitting in labs related to some of my client project work so that I can bring back some fresh perspectives and ideas.   I'm also looking forward to connecting with industry peers, different customers and many members of the ServiceNow team to exchange thought leadership, hear about progress they have made over the last year, and share a few good laughs."

"Knowledge14 is where the latest and greatest technologies for enterprise IT automation hang out. There is no room for old, legacy software in the world of Web-scale IT. SaltStack integrated with ServiceNow makes configuration management, public cloud orchestration, and private infrastructure automation easier and more powerful than any legacy IT software available today.

This will be my sixth consecutive ServiceNow Knowledge conference. I haven't missed it since 2008 and every year I'm amazed at the new tech bling on display. As always, Knowledge will showcase the bleeding edge of enterprise IT automation, not just from the software vendors, but from the end users and consumers of the technology. This year I'm particularly interested to see the latest in cloud orchestration and configuration automation."
