Session Code: BRE0280
Presenter(s): Julie
Company(s): City and County of Denver
Abstract:
In every industry, in every organization, there is a need to gather information from several sources, compile that data, and turn it into meaningful results that can be used to analyze the situation. By implementing Vendor Risk Management and taking advantage of both the vendor assessments for external city requests and vendor tiering for internal city requests, the City and County of Denver was able to transform their citywide information-gathering processes from a clumsy, cumbersome spreadsheet into an automated collection and analysis process. They're now able to quickly determine impacts to sensitive data throughout the city and establish procedures to ensure the protection of regulated data.
