I'm having some issues with a New Hire Access Request order guide that I'm creating - I am able to cascade variables to the Request and Request Items, but I am really having trouble populating the Short Description in the Request. Ideally the business would like the Short Description to read: "New Hire Access Request - <requested_for variable from order guide>". Does anyone have any ideas? I have tried catalog client scripts, business rules, and I have even tried creating a variable to cascade to the Request - no luck yet. All I get is the short description from one of the selected items from the rule base. Any assistance here would be most appreciated.
