Announcement: The SNUG train is pulling into the station at the NS headquarters on October 5th 2026 (Laan van Puntenburg 100, 3511 ER Utrecht). Sign up now for an unforgettable afternoon packed with ServiceNow topics and insights: ServiceNow User Group Netherlands at NS HQ

If you’d like to present an interesting topic yourself, we’d love to hear from you! For this edition, we are specifically looking for NIS 2 experts. If that’s you—or someone you know—give us a shout! Let @Wessel van Enk and/or @jacco beckers  know. We’d love to connect with you.

The theme: Getting on the right track. Our host, Dutch Railways (NS), has been using the ServiceNow platform for years and will take us along on their 'journey'. It’s a fantastic venue where you can even fulfill any ambitions of becoming a train conductor—and, of course, a great networking opportunity to shake hands with potential future colleagues.

Hi, what does NS use ServiceNow for? This in order to check to whom this is particularly interesting. I.e. IT Service Management, Software Asset Management, etc. etc.

@Guido Calicher I am sending you an email with the AM of NS.

A detailed agenda with the exact breakout sessions will follow when completed. There are more presenters than NS on the SNUG. About 2 main presentations and 8 breakout sessions, so something nice for everybody!

For those who are wondering which ServiceNow modules are used at NS, the answer is: quite a few. We leverage a broad range of ServiceNow capabilities to support our business processes and operations. These include IT Service Management (ITSM), Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD), Health & Safety, Workplace Delivery, Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Project Portfolio Management (PPM), and Security Operations, which includes both Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR). In addition, we use several other modules to help improve efficiency, strengthen governance and compliance, and support our digital transformation initiatives across the organization.
