Must-haves

• 5+ years Infrastructure /Networking experience
• 2-3 years working with the ServiceNow platform
• Experience and understanding of IP Networking, Devices, Network Design
• Methodology and configuration Advanced and current understanding and practice in Windows Domain and Unix
• System Administration
• Ability to modify and create server-side JavaScript, Unix Shell scripting,
• Windows scripting and PowerShell
• Comprehension of, and the ability to communicate, the ITIL CMDB Model

Day-to-Day

Insight Global is seeing a ServiceNow Consultant for a large telecommunications client. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the discovery of physical or virtual components across the IT infrastructure and supporting CMDB customizations. In this role, you will utilize the ServiceNow IT Service Management platform and will serve as the teams expert in providing support in these areas. You will be managing and maintaining Discovery and CMDB related platform changes and will work closely with other SME's and project team members to provide guidance on Discovery and Configuration management processes and platform capabilities. You must understand requirements and translate them into optimized capabilitythat you will implement into the platform development of the Stories built in SCRUM process. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a collaborative fast paced environment and helping out with administration, but also need a strong ability to code ! in JavaScript. Additionally, strong communication is essential as you will work closely with various stakeholders to provide guidance in the management of CI's and the relationships between them as well as participate in meetings as required adding value as a subject matter expert where and when required.
