Jobs in service now?

Hi All,

I don't know where to start, I am searching for a job to start my career in IT. I came across this platform 6weeks before and I started my journey with this. I recently achieved my CSA certificate as well. I live in London I was searching for a job with the possibility of getting sponsorship in the UK after I achieved my certificate. I contacted a few of my old friends shared my achievements and asked if there were any openings came across they could help me out, some congratulated me and some said I took the wrong stem and ServiceNow doesn't have opportunities in the UK. I was planning and preparing for the CAD, ITSM and CSM Certificate exams now.

So, I thought to ask here if doing these is worth the effort and time/money to spend on it. I would like to know if service now does have any opportunities to start my career with it. I also did some research as it mentioned the jobs for ServiceNow developers I hardly came across the administrator roles. I thought I would be able to start as an administrator job after completing my CSA certificate.

I don't know what to do now, feel like am stuck with this thing after spending almost 2 months of my time, all the money I got and leaving the job which I was working was not worth it.

HI @AyeshaF Don't get disappointed. ServiceNow is a game changer platform if one day your time will come and definitely you will be in Happy mood.

Meanwhile, i would recommend you to explore the modules in your PDI, start doing mini projects kind of thing like Creating catalogs, workflow ,Auto assignment group and add it in your Resume. This way your resume will get some value and would be impressive. This also help to grow your skills

Keep trying success will follow you for sure

Hi @AyeshaF

I am based out in Sheffield and have been working in SN ecosystem from last 10 years now, and yes, it is almost correct that SN openings in UK for fresher is very less and also when you need sponsorship it become also zero. As you did CSA  , it doesn't mean you get a job, bcz CSA is very very basis. You need to build your portfolio, learn CAD, ITSM as well. I will not say go for certs, but go for knowledge first. Keep applying also participate in London SN events to build network.
