Our technology solutions team is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join our team. The ServiceNow Developer will be the technical subject matter expert responsible for the design, development, administration, and rollout of solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ServiceNow Developer will collaborate with internal customers, Scrum Masters, Solution and Product Leads, and other developers to design, develop, test, and deploy features, enhancements, fixes, and configuration changes needed to support the ServiceNow Transformation Project.

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Customer Engagement: Participate as a domain expert in customer-facing meetings to discuss Service Management processes and features.
  • Documentation: Document workflows, processes, and results of business analysis.
  • Requirements Analysis: Develop a thorough understanding of customer requirements and assist the project team in applying industry best practices and detailed knowledge of ServiceNow to design optimal solutions.
  • Application Design: Assist the project team in translating application functionality into application architecture and produce business functionality requirements.
  • Wireframes/Mockups: Create wireframes/mockups for user stories, review them with customers, and gather feedback.
  • Risk Management: Identify and document risks and constraints related to requirements.
  • User Stories: Break down documented requirements into epics and decompose them into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Testing: Assist and lead test plan development and execution, perform functional tests on each configured story.
  • Quality Management: Assist in quality management reviews to ensure all business and design requirements are met.
  • Change Management: Support Organizational Change Management (OCM) efforts by providing information on the “to be” solution.
  • Training: Assist, develop, and deliver end-user training.
  • Automated Testing: Assist in the development of automated tests in ServiceNow.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience with IT Service Management solutions in an enterprise environment, preferably ServiceNow.
  • 3 years of experience in business processes and business analysis in a software application environment.
  • 3 years of experience designing and developing process workflows, capturing and writing requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • 3 years of experience developing and maintaining system lifecycle documentation.
  • Strong understanding of the ServiceNow Application Suite covering ITSM, ITOM, and ITBM areas.
  • Experience implementing ServiceNow modules for a greenfield (brand new) instance.
  • Strong understanding of building APIs from scratch.
  • Understanding of both functional and non-functional software testing.
  • Superior attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to understand complex business needs and adapt appropriately.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new solutions applicable to the ServiceNow platform.
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices and understanding of industry trends.
Desired characteristics:
  • Certified ServiceNow Master Architect or Certified ServiceNow Developer or Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist or Certified ServiceNow Administrator.
  • ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 Certification or equivalent practical experience.
  • Comfortable leading in both technical and organizational contexts.
  • Experience working on projects with large global/multinational corporations.
  • Relevant software development certifications.
  • Experience maintaining version control systems (Git etc.).
  • Experience with Automation and DevOps Practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally to stakeholders and developers.
  • Ability to execute within a fast-paced agile process.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
