@Chris McEntyre Probably the best place to start is docs: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/washingtondc-platform-security/page/product/credentials/task/conn...
If you search on youtube for "servicenow connection and credential alias" you'll see a bunch of videos that talk about integrations and alias/connections are part of that.
I am also open to giving a quick demo if we can find some time in the next couple of days.
I believe that the usage is purely within the context of using the REST flow action though....aliases can't easily be used in how we were doing REST calls today in class.

I know the ServiceNow Account Rep is the person to contact for licensing specifics. But I was wondering if there are some general concepts around licensing of Scoped Applications.
I believe you need to have entitlements for custom tables created. Do the scoped app users need to have some kind of license? What about licensing implications for cross-scope access?
Thanks

I think there is a license type called something like "App Dev" and perhaps "App Dev Pro". These comes with unlimited number of tables as opposed to ITSM and HR that has a limited number of custom tables.
But as you write yourself - your account manager can find out.

To my question that I had asked in the class about context hinting: the answer in short is no, there will not be a way to import context from a custom class or include that is developed by a user. This would require a lot of customization and could have potential undue impacts to the js environment at this time. The safest and best way to document code is using SNDocs. Here is a good Dev article on it: Introduction to SNDoc
