Avail workplace-related services using the Employee Center portal. The Employee Center portal is a unified portal that brings all the employee-related services at one place.
The Employee Center portal allows employees to raise a workplace request for a department. The Employee Center portal enables you to request a workplace service available to you. Using the Content Taxonomy Framework, you can modify the base taxonomy - Employee to provide your workplace services as child topics.

- Employee Experience Taxonomy plugin (sn_ect)
- Workplace Service Delivery (sn_wsd) suite with all the applications.
Workplace Services on Employee Center
After you install the required plugins, the Workplace Services menu option appears on the Employee Center homepage. Select it to raise workplace service requests.
The Workplace Services option shows the list of following workplace services:
- Furniture and Supplies: Request a furniture or an equipment for your workplace or any meeting.
- Events: Register a guest or a co-worker for a visit or for an upcoming event.
- Site safety: Raise workplace-related requests such as general reservation and shift-based reservation. View the location directory, add a shift or a task. Schedule your arrival.
- Maintenance: Raise a request to change your office setup or for any general inquiry. Add a planned task definition.
Enabling Workplace services on the Employee Center portal
- Customize the taxonomy. First, copy the base taxonomy and then make the required changes.
- Create the content, such as Create a workplace service record producer or Knowledge base article.
- Associate the content to the taxonomy.

- Create a topic
Create topics that you want to associate with the new or cloned taxonomy.
