Enable application monitoring to gain insights into performance metrics, diagnose issues, and promote optimal functionality, enhancing performance and proactively addressing potential bottlenecks or failures.

Before you begin

Confirm that the DEX plugin (sn_dex) is installed.

Role required: sn_dex.admin

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Workspaces > Service Operations Workspace.
  2. In the primary navigation pane, select the DEX Administration icon ().
  3. On the Application management card, select Configure applications.
    The list of monitored applications appears.
  4. Select the name of the application for which you want to enable monitoring.
    To enable monitoring for more than one application, you can select the check boxes next to an application and select Turn on metrics monitoring under Actions.
  5. (Optional) Only when enabling the Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM), Microsoft Teams, or DEX for Zoom include Advanced monitoring by selecting MCM - Only choose this option for MCM or Microsoft Teams from the drop-down list.
