CEM Impacted people tab
In Critical Event Management (CEM), agents can view a list and update the status of impacted people in a critical event.
Tracking the status of people during a critical event is important for their safety and well-being. This feature helps responders and agents to coordinate effectively, prioritize assistance where it's needed most, and maintain a clear communication. By monitoring the status of impacted individuals, organizations can minimize harm, provide timely support, and maintain accountability in managing the critical event.
When a critical event occurs, a list of people impacted by the event automatically populates for that location. On-site responders can only view the impacted people assigned to their specific location. To learn more about configuring the impacted people list, see Location hierarchy and child locations.
If you're an agent, you can access the list of impacted people on the Impacted people tab of a critical event record. To learn how to generate this list for new critical events, see Generate impacted people list.
On the record of an impacted person, you can view the person's information, such as status and emergency number. For more information on how to view an impacted person's record, see View an impacted person record. To compare the possible statuses, see Impacted people status.
A critical event might occur when there are visitors at the critical event location. You can manually add and track the status of people who wouldn't generate automatically in the list of impacted people. To learn how to add someone to the list manually, see Add a person manually to the impacted people list.
