  • Learn how to use the Review and feedback workflow to enable the 2nd and 3rd line managers to review records, capture feedback, and track the closure of feedback.

Overview of Parallel Review and Feedback

The Parallel Review and Feedback in the Advanced Risk application helps in collaboration and engagement across different lines of management within an organization. The workflow enables the 2nd and 3rd line managers, such as Operational, IT, and Business Risk Managers, to provide feedback on records or fields in the records. For example, a risk manager can provide feedback by requesting a root cause analysis at the field level of the risk event. Alternatively, they may request the risk event owner to provide details of additional loss entries at the record level for the same risk event. Risk managers can create feedback on records available on the ServiceNow table and external records.

Benefits of Parallel Review and Feedback

The Parallel Review and Feedback application enables you to do the following:
    • Provide feedback at any stage of the workflow.
    • Update the feedback responses directly from the source record by using the side-panel feature.
    • View and manage the feedback workflows that are raised against the records from a centralized dashboard.
    • View the change history, which enables a quick comparison of pre-feedback and post-feedback.
    • Reopen the feedback if the responses are deemed unsatisfactory.
    • Monitor the feedback and follow up with the record owners through an intuitive dashboard.
    • Collaborate effectively with the reviewer, respondent, and other stakeholders through a sidebar discussion chat.
    • Initiate and link further actions as outcomes of the feedback, such as creating an issue or linking to an existing one.
    • Configure a feedback integration setup for any record type, including custom tables where you can define the table or record type to create feedback from.
