Configure a workplace task template

  • Configure templates in Workplace Core that can be used to create workplace tasks. You can either modify predefined workplace task templates or create your own templates and associate them with workplace tasks.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_wsd_core.admin or sn_wsd_core.workplace_manager

    About this task

    Templates simplify the process of creating tasks in Workplace Core by populating fields automatically. The following predefined templates are available with the application:

    • Pre-cleaning
    • Post-cleaning

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Workplace Safety Management > Workplace Tasks > Workplace Task Templates.
    2. Create a new template or modify an existing template.
      • If you are creating a new template, select New.
      • If you are modifying an existing template, open the desired template.

      For information about the template form fields, see Create a template.

    3. Select the Workplace Task [sn_wsd_core_workplace_task] table in the Table field.
    4. Optional: Apply the template to the required workplace task type.
      1. In the Template section, select the Workplace task type field in the left column.
      2. Select the required task type in the right column.
    5. Select Submit.
    6. Add a checklist to the template.

    7. Select Update.
