Work on self-served contract requests as a contract fulfiller

  • As a member of the contracts support team, review and finalize a contract document according to the contract request.

    Before you begin

    A self-served contract request can be worked on by a contract user. However a contract fulfiller can get assigned to the request by an assignment rule or by a group manager. A contract fulfiller can work on the contract request similarly to a contract user, but can also initiate ad hoc approvals and create revisions manually.

    Role required: sn_lg_cnt.contract_fulfiller

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to your workspace.
    2. Open the contract request that is assigned to you or you’re a collaborator.
    3. Work on the contract request.
      ActionSteps
      Regenerate contract document Create a new version of the contract document. Using this option discards the changes made in the previous version of the document. For more information, see Regenerate contract document after modifying request.
      Sync the document
      Note:
      This option is available on Contract Management Pro starting with version 1.2.1
      Create a new version of the contract document while retaining the changes made in the previous version. For more information, see Create an updated contract document revision after modifying a self-served contract request (Contract Management Pro 1.2.1).
      Create document revisions. See Create document revision.
      Sync signatories
      Note:
      This option isn’t available on Contract Management Pro starting with version 1.2.1 because it is no longer necessary.
      Update the contract document with the latest signatory details. For more information, see Updating and synchronizing signatories
      Initiate ad hoc approvals See Initiate an ad hoc approval for a contract document revision.
      Communicate with stakeholders using Email See Send email to stakeholders
      Send the document for signature. See Work on a contract change request.
      Cancel request
      • On the contract request page, from the Actions menu, select Cancel Request.
      • Select Cancel Request to confirm cancellation.
