Order furniture or equipment for your workplace or for any event.

About this task
Use the Request furniture workplace
service to request a piece of furniture or equipment, such as a chair, a table,
adjustable desk, cabinet, flip card, white board, or other items.
Procedure

Navigate to .
The Workplace Service Portal opens.

To open the General category where the workplace service
is located, do the following:

Click Catalog.

Click Browse by Categories.

In the Workplace Services Catalog, select
General.
Note: If there are multiple catalogs configured on the portal, go to the
Catalogs list and select .

Select Request furniture.

On the form, fill in the fields.

In the Add Furniture section, click Add.
You can request more than one piece of furniture. Click
Add to add more pieces of furniture.

In the Select Furniture field, select the furniture that
you want to request for your space.
The availability of the furniture depends on the configuration set by the
workplace manager for the workplace location.

In the Quantity field, specify the required
quantity.
The Cost field is automatically calculated depending on
the selected furniture and the quantity specified. The cost also depends on the
cost defined by the workplace manager for the selected location.

Click Add.
The furniture is added to the request.

In the Is there anything else we should know? field,
specify any instruction or extra information if required.
- Optional:
Select Add attachments to attach any files of
required.

Click Submit.
Result
The furniture request is submitted. The state of the
request changes to Awaiting approval for approval by the respective manager. After
the request is approved, the state of the request changes to Work in progress.
Depending on the progress of the background tasks that are assigned to fulfill the
request, the state of the request further changes.
