Manage product hierarchy using Included products

  • Add products that you manage​ as Included products within a product or service to create a product hierarchy.

    Role required: sn_dpr_model.product_manager

    About this task

    The product hierarchy created using Included products helps you see relationships between different products and services and make informed decisions about their development, management, and releases.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Digital Product Release Workspace.
    2. Select the products and services icon (Products and services icon.).
    3. Select a product or service from the list to open.
    4. Select the Included products tab.
    5. View and manage included products.
      • To add existing products, select Add, select products from the list, and then select Confirm.
      • To add a new product, select the more actions icon (More actions icon.) next to the Add button and then select Request new product. In the Request new product dialog box, fill in the fields, and select Submit. The new product appears in the list after it’s created.
      • To remove an existing product from the hierarchy, select the product from the list, and then select Remove.
      • To view the details of a product, select the product from the list to open.
