Manage the employee profile AI and ML model

Use the employee profile Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) model to view recommended articles and catalog items for similar users.

Before you begin

Role required: Employee profile admin

Opt in to employee profile. For more information, see Opt in to the employee profile.

About this task

Discover recommendations from similar users using the employee profile ML model. These recommendations remove the dependency on the HR profile ML model. Identify the Knowledge articles and catalog items that are most viewed by similar users. Display the Recommended for you section based on the instance configuration made by the admin.

You can Modify the Recommended for you widget display to show more results.

Note:

HR customers continue to use the HR profile ML model regardless if they opt in to employee profile.

Procedure

1. Navigate to All > Employee Profile > Employee Profile AI Configuration.
2. To create a record under the default similarity definition, click New.

The employee profile admin can Manually train the employee profile predictive model if the similar user model is not auto-trained after opting in to employee profile.

Employees can browse through the Knowledge articles and catalog items viewable in the Recommended for you section using the employee profile ML model.
