Deploy a neighborhood scenario

  • After publishing and approving the final changes for a neighborhood scenario, start deploying it on your production data.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_wsd_spcmgmt.space_planner

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to any one of the following locations:
      • All > Workplace Central > Workplace Central.
      • All > Scenario Planning > My Scenario Plans
      You can also open Workplace Central from the Employee Center directly. Navigate to Workspaces > Workplace Central.
      The Workplace Analytics dashboard opens.
    2. Select the Space Optimization icon (Space optimization icon.).
      The Space optimization dashboard opens.
    3. Select a scenario with a neighborhood allocation.
    4. Ensure that the scenario is owned by you to deploy it.
    5. Check the Owned by field by opening the Details tab.
    6. Optional: Select the Space Deployment plan and the User Deployment plan tab to see the updated scenario changes to a neighborhood.
      Note:
      The Space Deployment plan and the User Deployment plan tabs appear only after you publish the scenario.
    7. Allocation changes made to the neighborhood scenario are displayed.
      • Current value: Existing value before scenario changes were made and published. For example: Unallocated spaces in a floor.
      • Scenario value: Changed value after the scenario plan changes were made and published. Updated changes are shown when you move a user from a floor to another, or assign new spaces to a floor based on the unallocated spaces available in a scenario. For example: User A is moved from Floor 1 to Floor 2. Floor 2 column shows User A as part of it’s allocation.
      • Workplace case: For scenarios that are in the Deployed state, you can view the workplace move cases associated with a floor.

        Select open a deployed scenario. The scenario opens in the Scenario plan page. The Workplace Cases tab and Workplace Move Cases tabs show the number of cases initiated for a scenario.

    8. Select Deploy to deploy your scenario in production data.

    9. Select Yes.
      Note:
      You cannot edit or change a scenario after it is deployed.
