The geo map in the Telecommunications Network Inventory application enables ServiceNow customers to visualize the geographical locations of their network sites and datacenters. It provides detailed insights into site information, connectivity, and capacity, helping you manage and monitor your network infrastructure effectively.

Key Features
- Navigation Panel: Lists all network sites and datacenters, categorized under tabs like All Sites and My Sites, allowing quick access and zooming into specific locations on the map.
- Filter Options: Allows filtering network sites by domain, life-cycle stage, and connectivity type (physical, logical connections, topology, cable routes). Note that cable filtering is not available for datacenters.
- Map Pane: Displays sites and datacenters with location icons, supports zooming, and clusters nearby sites for better visualization. Red icons indicate sites exceeding capacity thresholds, which are configurable via the snniadv.thresholdcapacitysiteusage system property. You can also view site associations, connections, cable routes, and topology directly on the map.
- Details Pane: Shows detailed information about the selected site(s), including capacity and related connections, accessible via an info icon.
- Search Box: Enables searching and selecting a single site to quickly locate it on the map and access its details.
Access
To use the geo map, navigate within the ServiceNow platform to:
- Workspaces > Network Inventory Workspace
- Open the Network visualization window by selecting the blue hub icon
- Choose the Geo map tab to view the geographical network visualization
