Leading the AI revolution with our customers
ServiceNow has always put empathy for our customers at the centre of everything we do. I tend to think of our sales organisation as our customer organisation because we constantly think about how we can deliver the most value to our customers every single day. The most effective way for us to do this is to truly be the AI platform for business transformation.
Every boardroom meeting today has AI on the agenda—and for good reason. AI is transforming companies. Our customers are seeing tremendous value in both our platform and our AI solutions. We've experienced impressive results ourselves:
- Deflection: Our IT help desk is saving 45 minutes per case.
- Customer service: Team members save 30 minutes every time a knowledge base article is generated.
- Self-service: Our employee population saves 21,000 hours per year with faster and smarter self-service.
- Developers: Non-complex scripts are now completed in half the time.
When you consider these numbers at scale, the results are staggering—and we're only scratching the surface. Our customers are realising this massive return as well.
AI drives business transformation
ServiceNow's AI platform is driving business transformation in a way I've never seen in my career. We are uniquely positioned to help our customers across industries and geographies navigate and maximise the impact of AI to improve how their businesses run day to day.
In the second quarter of this year, our net new annual contract value for Now Assist, our generative AI (GenAI) experiences, doubled quarter over quarter. Customers are truly buying into the power of our AI-driven platform. Here are a few examples:
- American Honda Motor Co. has selected Now Assist as its GenAI solution of choice across all its ServiceNow applications to help improve deflection rates and service efficiency and deliver a world-class digital experience to its North American employees.
- Since its ServiceNow GenAI pilot, BT Group was able to cut times for agent tasks by 55% and speed up case resolution.
- Dell plans to integrate Now Assist with its service capabilities to deliver a seamless customer and employee experience.
- LTIMindtree, the Mumbai-based IT services and consulting company, is using Now Assist for IT Service Management to help increase developer productivity by 30% with code and flow generation. We also plan to collaborate with LTIMindtree to grow and expand offerings in finance and supply chain workflows.
- STMicroelectronics, a global semiconductor leader, is connecting its systems of record across manufacturing, research and development, HR, risk management and demand planning. The company plans to deploy Now Assist to help boost productivity and user experience across the entire organisation.
