Hi everyone,
In our instance, the out-of-box Sync Now Assist AI Assets Scheduled Script Execution was running hourly, with each execution taking approximately 18–25 minutes and consuming significant CPU and SQL time.
To reduce the impact on interactive users, we changed the frequency from hourly to every 6 hours, starting at 02:00. This reduces the number of executions from 24 to 4 per day while keeping the AI Control Tower inventory regularly synchronized.
Has anyone observed similar execution times for this job?
We would particularly like to understand:
Is an 18–25-minute runtime expected?
Does the job perform a full or incremental synchronization?
Does reducing the frequency affect only AI Control Tower inventory freshness, or can it affect AI agent execution?
Is every 6 hours a supported frequency?
Are there known defects, patches, or Store application updates that improve its performance?
Thank you
