How to avoid date overlap in registrations? (No business rule)

Hi @Community Alums,

can you please elaborate a bit more? The question is quite general and too vague to get the full context.

Please describe the current state and what's wrong about it, then the desired outcome (what's the goal) and optimally provide some screenshot or anything to understand it.

Is this related to portal, backend, dashboard, ... as knowing where's that happening it might be different approach to achieve it.

Is this related to Customer contact self-registration in CSM?

is it when same contact tries to register again?

If yes then I believe there is nothing OOTB available for this.

You will require a custom solution which checks if this user already exists or not.
