Hi All,
We are having one problem here with Policy Approval record from Employee Center Portal.
We are unable to view the content of the policy and details of it on portal while approving or rejecting the record on portal. When I saw the documentation it speaks to have bare minimum role "sn_compliance.user" to view the policy content and fields values to be viewed.
But as want to figure out that apart from this any other way do we have to bypass this role and still able to access these field values of Policy record such that we can allow users to atleast view the content whil approving or rejecting it .As just with "approver_user" role the record can be seen empty but can just approve or reject it. But it doesnt make sense to approve or reject a record without seeing the content of record right?
Find the attached image for your reference.
Anybody who has faced similar challenge in the past ? Can help us on the same appreciate your kind suggestions on the same.
Thanks,
Ajinkya Jadhav

In the ServiceNow GRC/Policy Approval scenario you describe, the fact that your approver only has the approver_user role and sees an empty policy record in the Employee Center portal indicates that beyond just the sn_compliance.user role (which the docs cite as the bare minimum for viewing policy content) you will indeed need the correct ACLs and roles that grant read access to the policy table and related content; in practice this often means adding a role such as sn_compliance.read (or a custom role with read access) or adjusting the ACLs on the policy content fields so that the approver_user (or a role that that user has) can see the form content and not just approve/reject the stub record............
