Best Practices - Setting workflow timer to wait

Hi,
I wanted to identify the best practices in setting the timer in workflows to avoid any performance issues. Is it advised to set the timer to wait 3 - 6 months period ?
If not, what the advised max time that we can use in timers that won't impact much

Hi @AjayPavanG ,
It doesn't matter, The workflow engine simply ignores the activity until the timer reaches its duration and then proceeds to the next step. It's the same logic as 'Wait for condition.'
What is the requirement here? We can suggest a better approach if possible.
