New to Tampa

Hi!

I'm brand new to the community and just wanted to introduce myself. I live in St. Pete and have recently decided to embark in a new career in tech and have started working on my CSA with ServiceNow. If anyone has any advice or lives locally and would love to meet up, I would love that! Or if anyone can share any advice here that would be wonderful too!

Since it is safe again to meet in person, I strongly support such events.
I have been hosting Salesforce events in Tampa since 2017 (Admins, Developers and even the Architect group), with great attendance.

Hello and welcome to the SNUG community!

ServiceNow leads and manages one in-person event per year for each oof our SNUGs, but for those of you interested in meeting more often and/or want SNUGs that are aligned by vertical market or solution- we have SNUG Meetups - here is a brief description, but details regarding the program are in the attached SNUG Customer Participation Guide:

SNUG Meetups are smaller, SNUG member-driven, local groups that can be focused on vertical industries, specific ServiceNow solutions, or general best practices. Meetups empower ServiceNow customers to meet more frequently around specific topics and common interests to facilitate additional opportunities to network and collaborate. Events typically feature specific discussion areas or topics at each meeting and include time for networking. *Available in the US and Canada only.

Meetups can be named whatever you feel best describes the focus – examples include:

• Boise Area SNUG Meetup
• Chicago Financial Services SNUG Meetup
• Sacramento Local Government SNUG Meetup
• Bozeman Montana CSM SNUG Meetup

To request a new Meetup, send an email to SNUGs@servicenow.com. Include your name, preferred email address, organization name, Meetup Name, and first anticipated meeting date.

I'm in the Orlando area, but I would love to connect with everyone.  I have been to a couple of SNUGs in the Tampa are before.  I have my CSA and CAD, and I have been working on the platform for about 8-years or so.

I think a Tampa Bay SNUG group could be good if theres enough interest. I know the Orlando meeting was a challenge for many.  With people ranging from Wesley Chapel to St. Pete Beach any suggestions on location or night of the week for a local meetup?
