I am trying to service map some applications. Getting the error message “SSH authentication failed. Verify that credentials have been correctly defined for host. “
This is my first time tying this. Tried to discover same devices using quick discovery, it works but not works via "Service map discovery". Confirmed the credentials and other settings in the ServiceNow. Also checked the capability in MID servers. Any suggestions please.

Hi Kalavathy,
I don't have much experience with service mapping. I'm not sure if this KB article would help: https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0657528.

Thanks Chuck. The article is more specific to the credential issues.
In my scenario, the credentials are correct and I'm able to discover the device using the same credentials. So, I think the issue is different and something to do with the Service map settings.

Can you check if the required ports are open.

Thanks Vishal for checking. Yes the ports are open and I'm able to discover the devices generally. We have the weekly scans scheduled and it's running without any interruptions.
The only problem I'm having is discover the same device using the Service map feature.
