Hi @swaghosh

Refer: KB2345359 Now Assist Panel is enabled but the icon does not appear

The following prerequisites must be met for the Now Assist Panel to display:

  • The Next Experience UI Framework must be active.
  • At least one Now Assist plugin must be installed (for example, ITSM, CSM, or AI Search).
  • Users must have the appropriate roles:
    • now_assist_panel_user for panel access
    • sn_nowassist_admin.nsa_admin for activation
  • AI skills (Q&A, Topics, AI Agents) must be turned on in Conversational Interfaces > Assistants.
  • AI Search must be enabled.
  • The default assistant (Now Assist Panel – Platform) must be activated.

Note: Now Assist, AI Agents, and most GenAI plugins are not supported in PDIs, so they cannot be installed or activated. ServiceNow restricts these capabilities because they require licensing and managed AI services.

Hi @Tanushree Maiti

The question is about build Agent, not about Next Experience. These are two different topics.

I read the file, and it does not mention Build Agent anywhere. It appears to be more focused on the Now Assist option, where the issue was suspected to be related to the Build Agent only.
