Knowledge 2025: Day 1
The fun actually already begins before day 1.
Flying in from the Netherlands, the plane is loaded with customers, colleagues, and partners.
What will this year bring? What will be mentioned in the keynotes? And what will we bring home?
But the first surprise was the weather; rain? In Las Vegas?
Meet Our MVPs Session
We kicked off the day by heading straight to the “Meet Our MVPs” session, where Mark Roethof and Rafael Cardoso shared their experiences.
They talked about what it truly means to be an MVP, what they’re working on at Knowledge, and how attending events like this can be a game-changer for personal growth and professional development. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn from some of the best in the community and take a few selfies with these inspiring individuals!
Keynote
The first day of Knowledge 2025 kicked off with an exciting keynote by Bill McDermott, CEO of ServiceNow.
He talked about how AI is going to transform every business process around the world. Amit Zavery, President and COO of ServiceNow, also spoke about how current CRM systems are outdated and need to change to keep up with today’s needs.
One of the most impressive moments came when AstraZeneca shared how they saved 90,000 hours using Now Assist. This really shows the power of AI in action.
ServiceNow also introduced ServiceNow University, a free learning platform that helps people build skills for an AI-driven future. Their goal is to help 3 million learners by 2027.
The keynote was a great start to the event, showing how AI, on the ServiceNow AI Platform, is going to shape the future of work.
Hack4Good with March of Dimes
For the second year in a row ServiceNow partnered with Plat4mation for Hack4Good at Knowledge 2025.
Developers teamed up to create a cloud-based solution for March of Dimes, a nonprofit that works to improve the health of mothers and babies. Their mission is to prevent birth defects, premature birth, and infant deaths, while also helping families with babies in neonatal care.
Spread out across multiple sessions, developers began building a new service desk system that will improve user experience, automate tasks, and make operations more efficient. The solution will include a self-service portal, AI-powered virtual agents, and integration with tools like Asana. It was a great start to an exciting project that will help March of Dimes and make a real difference for families in need.
Speaking at Knowledge
Speaking at K25 was an incredible experience, especially when we shared Plat4mation’s AI Blueprint with the audience.
Alongside my colleague, Dylan Veerman, we had the opportunity to showcase how we’ve successfully deployed over 10 AI Agents and achieved 30+ customer successes. The session focused on our practical approach to leveraging AI Agents, Agentic AI, and the AI Agent Orchestrator within ServiceNow, transforming automation and governance.
It was exciting to walk the audience through actionable insights and strategies that empower teams to maximize ServiceNow’s potential. The engagement from attendees was fantastic, and it was great to see so many excited about using AI to drive success in their own organizations.
CMA Dinner
The ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA) dinner at the Grand Lux Cafe was a wonderful evening, where my colleague Michelle Slater and I reconnected with people from our previous cohorts and had the chance to meet new CMAs as well.
We quickly realized how much we all have in common. The CMA journey is challenging, and it was amazing to hear how every one of us had gone through similar tough moments, celebrated milestones, and built lasting relationships along the way. It was a night full of laughter, stories, and reflections on the shared experiences that make being a CMA so special.
