Knowledge 2025: Day 3
Before diving into the sessions at Knowledge 2025, I kicked off the day with a run alongside my colleague Carel Jansen.
I am using AI to train for a marathon next year, so had to wake up early and put the miles in. The perfect way to clear the mind and get ready for a full day of learning and networking!
Meetups
Before the keynote we had the MVP meetup connecting with fellow MVP’s and the Developer meetup organizer session where we exchanged our experiences organizing developer meetups. Of course group pictures cannot be forgotten. And I had the chance for a picture with Jorn van Beek from the Amsterdam meetup team.
Day 3 Keynote – A Tribute to Michael Lombardo
The Day 3 keynote at Knowledge 2025 was both inspiring and heartfelt.
We honored the memory of Michael Lombardo by recognizing Nathan Firth for embodying the values that Michael held dear.
Conan O'Brien and Jessica Williams discussed how embracing spontaneity and using humor can foster trust and build adaptability in today’s complex world. It was a reminder of how humor can strengthen human connections and help leaders thrive in constant change.
The CreatorCon Keynote
The CreatorCon keynote was an exciting session where we got a sneak peek at the latest developer tools and innovations.
Earl Duque, Lauren McManamon, and Kristy Merriam, mentioned the March of Dimes app, built during Hack4Good, will be rolled out next year. We also celebrated the winners of this year’s Hackathon: Code Vendors taking home the top prize. SmartGuide winning the Devvies People's Choice Award and App of the year is won by GCWalkUp.
How awesome is it to see three fellow MVPs in the keynote?
Ashutosh Munot, Kalisha Moore, and Laszlo Balla had some great insights in the new ServiceNow capabilities.
ServiceNow continues to make app creation easier for both citizen developers and pro-coders. Which is great news, because with over 815k members, the Community continues to grow!
One of the highlights was the introduction of AI-driven suggestions in ServiceNow Studio and ServiceNow IDE, allowing developers to improve their apps, with AI agents being easily integrated into scoped and global apps.
As an architect I always tell my team there is no excuse not to test. That is now more true than ever, as ServiceNow Studio allows for automated tests. Reviewing files, testing AI Agents, running ATF's, and executing Instance scan checks.
Knowledge 2025 has come to an end, and my total steps these last three days:
49.860
See you next year!
