Hello Everyone,
I have a requirement of having articles available for downloaded/printing by end users using Service Portal/Employee Service Center.
I know printer friendly version of a record can be displayed on polaris UI using &sysparm_media=print at the end of the URL however this does not help when viewing articles on portal. The portal header/footer mega menu etc. also gets rendered for printing.
Printing of articles should only give the article details to be printed as it does on backend. I have thought about having an action on portal for printing articles which takes the record sys_id and opens a new tab in backend view to allow printing but not sure it is ideal solution.
Looking for all your experience dealing with portal to gain guidance.
