Build Organization Chart based on Groups and Users

Is there a way to generate an org chart diagram based on a Group and the Users that belong to that group (similar to using a Dependency Map)?

wow ! its a nice use case to understand the orginization user/group/roles structure... unfortunately there is nothing as such OOTB

Though - isn't there a way to use the same graphics rendering engine as the dependency map, but just feed it group/user data instead?  Some scripting might be required.

Have you looked at cloning the Org Chart widget and modifying to see if that will meet your needs?

This could probably be used as a solution for group/roles, though it would be neat if we could use the dependency map rendering engine to have the option of rendering horizontal or hub-and-spoke as well.
